Further Proof Regarding WordPress SEO Secrets

Yesterday’s post titled “How To Get Your Non-Profit’s Blog To Rank Higher In Google” received a lot of attention – and one very enlightened response:

“I’m a big believer in transparency — saying you did something is not as impressive as showing the data behind what you did”

This comment followed his issue with the word “Secrets” being in the title of Michael Martine’s course:

“frankly, there are no Wordpress SEO secrets — just practices”

This reminded me of the time I rented The Secret only to fume: “I already knew that I’m one with the universe you stupid Mr. Secret Man!” [followed by neighbor knocking on door to see if I've run low on medication].

Secrets or not, WordPress SEO Secrets is no scam – and has value for two reasons:

1. Non-profits who don’t know a lot about SEO can get results fast.

This means more traffic from Google next week, not six months from now.

Sure, you can find a lot of information on SEO by doing a Google search. But is it good info? And who has the time so search for SEO tips when they’re contained in one course, which happens to be written by an SEO expert?

2. WordPress SEO Secrets – the text, video and audio -  is bursting with valuable content, including:

  1. Knowing how and why people use search engines
  2. What are keywords and how does one do keyword research?
  3. Optimizing your theme, step-by-step
  4. Optimizing your blog post, step-by-step
  5. Outdated Wordpress SEO myths
  6. WordPress SEO plug-in settings for maximum effectiveness
  7. URL Redirection and SEO
  8. Slugs, Meta tags and anchor text, oh my!
  9. Changes to page-rank and search algorithms
  10. WordPress SEO Basics – Content vs. SEO (and how there really is no “versus”)
  11. Why great content is the foundation of blog SEO
  12. Off Page SEO

Stop the damned sales pitch Johnny!

I know… you’re wondering, “I’ve never seen John pitch anything in his blog posts. Is he trying to sell me something?”

In the interest of transparency, I answer back: “Yes, I am trying to sell WordPress SEO Secrets.”

But, it’s not for everyone. If you’ve already tweaked your WordPress blog and are getting super results like Beth Kanter or Problogger, then don’t waste your money on WordPress SEO Secrets.

Who is the ideal candidate for WordPress SEO Secrets?

This is for folks who are looking for better search ranking results and are NOT an SEO genius. Yup – this would describe me.

For months, my search engine traffic has been 5% of my total traffic source – this means that no one is finding my blog on Google!

Ouch!

Now – here are three screen shots of Google Analytics – before and after I started implementing WordPress SEO Secrets on Christmas (yes it was a sad and lonely Santa day…):

While the numbers are admittedly small, the spike in traffic is the proof that WordPress SEO Secrets is good stuff – and it worked for me.

With a result like this, why wouldn’t I want to share this with you? It’s like finding a great Indian restaurant – the real deal – and telling all your friends, “Hey this place is the best kept secret in town.”
