Hi all,
Welcome to my new blog. A draft. A work in progress. An experiment with social media.
First things first: Thank you. You’ve given me great feedback over the past year. You’ve helped me learn. So thanks! Really.

30 reasons for my blog’s new home
This new blog is for my readers
- Non-profits have been confused by the URL.
- CorporateDollar.Org started with the intention of helping non-profits get more corporate sponsors – hence the URL.
- I wasn’t too passionate about that topic.
- And neither were my readers.
- Based on a survey of my readers, I learned that they wanted to hear more about social media.
- I have tons of experience creating business results with social media.
- There was a round hole.
- I have a round peg.
- That’s sexy.
- Sexy people are confident in themselves.
- Confident people are clear in how they present themselves.
- Many of my customers are small businesses and bloggers.
- Too many times to count, I’ve received DMs and emails saying, “I really like what you have to say and would love to hire you,but it looks like you only work with non-profits.”
- Many of my new clients are social entrepreneurs – meaning that they make a profit doing good.
- My core offering is building what I call “social web systems” – threading together a person, their passion, a strategy, tactics and social media tools, to create business success.
- By the way, success (IMHO) is about creating happiness – for you and others.
- I didn’t make this stuff up.
- My customers have taught me this, and have been my most important teachers.
- Thank you, dear customer!
- My biggest lesson in business is this: My business is me.
- I will change and grow but I will always be me.
- After conducting extensive research, I found out that no one else is trying to be me.
- “Me” is an über niche.
- Being me feels good.
- I want to have these good feelings as long as I live.
- Useful content on social media strategy.
- More video tutorials similar to my recent Seesmic video tutorial.
- Case studies featuring non-profits who have used social media to solve business problems.
- Products to purchase – including advanced video tutorial courses, workbooks and recommended products.
- Tasty deliciousness from other blogs.
